Home to the small towns of Huntsville, Eden, and Liberty, Ogden Valley is a place of wide-open spaces, mountains, wetlands, rivers, mountain streams and Pineview Reservoir. At night, the Milky Way clearly visible in the dark velvet skies. An especially wonderful time of the year in Ogden Valley are the autumn months, where one can find of the most scenic drives in Northern Utah. Beginning at the mouth of Ogden Canyon, the Route 39 byway circles around Pineview Reservoir and up the Southfork River to Monte Cristo, home to some of the most brilliant fall colors in Utah. And don’t forget winter! The ski resorts in and around Ogden Valley are host to the best snow in the United States. These include Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Nordic Valley.
