Little Cottonwood Canyon

Little Cottonwood Canyon

The drive through Little Cottonwood Canyon is a 7-mile route that leads visitors past the sheer ruggedness and beauty of a glacially carved canyon. It is home to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts, as well as Albion Basin, which becomes a hikers’ and mountain bikers’ paradise once the snow has melted. Albion Basin is famous for its wildflowers and is one of the most photographed areas in northern Utah.

Other highlights of the canyon include Cecret Lake, Bells Canyon, Cardiff Pass, Catherine Pass, Red Pine Lake, and White Pine Lake.
