Just northwest of Moab, Arches National Park is home to a landscape of contrasting colors, rock formations, and textures unlike any other in the world. The park hosts over 2,000 natural stone arches, not to mention the hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins, towers, turrets, and enormous balanced rocks. The 40-mile scenic drive brings you high onto the plateau and passes a vast and glorious landscape of panoramic views and distant snow-capped mountains.
The best features of the park include Delicate Arch, Double Arch, Windows Arches, Landscape Arch, Fiery Furnace, Devil’s Garden, and Balanced Rock. And that list just barely scratches the surface!
